When it comes to comfortable, yet fashionable footwear, I consider my moccassins and classic ballerina’s as my lifesavers for whenever I don’t feel like strutting in heels. Everywhere I look I’ve been spotting these so-called “slipper shoes” which are basically slip-on loafers. They come in many different fabrics, studded or even covered in glitter. I’m not totally convinced on these new, trendy flats and somehow they remind me of the type of shoes Aladdin would wear.

I actually have the shoe on the last picture, designed by Sam Edelman, and I love it! I believe you can make an outfit look even more fashionable just by wearing such originally trendy shoes.
Minus the bright colors, glitter, and studs these loafers can be found on just about every old man in Northeastern US. I do like they can give a different look than ballet flats with an outfit.
I think if it is styled correctly then they are okay with me, Christian Louboutin makes a pair and they are stunning!
I love slipper shoes. They are extremely comfortable and you can find them in all colors and designs. I definitely prefer them over ballet flats at the moment. Ballet flats need a break for at least one season!
